A NOTE OF GRATITUDE
The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD (Job 1:21)
With our hearts full of gratitude, we have been trying to find the right words to express our deepest thanks to everyone. The loss of our beloved son/brother, Craig, has caused a profound and unimaginable pain for our family, but through it all, we have been uplifted by the incredible outpouring of love and support from so many.
A special “Thank you” to all the doctors, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, home care health workers, therapists and all medical professionals in Canada, Kuwait & India, who cared and treated Craig with utmost dedication and compassion. Your expertise and tireless efforts gave us hope and comfort during the most challenging moments. We will never forget your kindness.
To our dearest family, precious friends, priests & religious; your presence, whether near or far, has been a pillar of strength for us. You’ve held us up when we felt we could not stand by ourselves, and you’ve reminded us that we are not ALONE in this journey. Special thanks to all who travelled long distances to offer us your timely help. Your visits, calls, messages and supportive gestures have been a source of immense comfort.
To Craig’s friends, each of you, who were so close to Craig and have silently prayed or gave him your unwavering support specially during his challenging medical journey. Your affection, care and concern, especially by accompanying him to his frequent medical appointments and supporting him in countless ways, meant the world to him. Craig drew immense strength from the love you’ve showered on him, and the time you spent with him has been invaluable to both, him and our family. Your concern & care in standing by “a friend in need”, will be forever cherished.
To our committed prayer warriors, both, those we know and the many not known to us, who have kept Craig in their prayers from all across the globe, the fervent prayers with your faith, have been a light in our darkest hours. Knowing that so many were praying for our son and for our family, brought us a sense of peace and connection that transcends words. Each of you are a blessing to our family.
To everyone who offered support amidst our grief, sent condolences, or expressed sympathy in countless ways—through messages, calls, cards, mass offerings, memorial donations, flowers, meals, or simply being there with a listening ear—we are extremely grateful. These gestures, both big and small, have touched us in a way that shall never be forgotten.
As we navigate the days ahead enduring the loss of our beloved Craig, we carry with us the love and goodness that you have all shown us. It is this love that gives us the strength to move forward, knowing that Craig’s memory will live on, in the hearts of so many.
Psalm 34:18 says, “the Lord is near to the broken hearted and saves the crushed in spirit” Truly, each one of you have been an instrument of God’s love bringing comfort into our lives when it has been most needed. THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts, for standing with us during this time. We will endeavour to reach out to each of you individually at a God given earliest opportunity.
MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL,
Craig’s Family - Carl (Dad), Clementine (Mum), Calvin (Brother)

Thinking of you today, Craig, as we mark one year since you passed. We reminisced over all the happy memories we shared over the years especially this one... one of the last few meetings where we played Monopoly Sequence and of course, music! You are dearly missed! Rest with the angels, Craig.

Though I did not have the opportunity to meet Craig, I feel that we would have gotten along very well based on my what I know about him through his loved ones and the choir family. His legacy and inspiration are deeply felt through them. He used his gifts till the end. A life well lived that I think would have made God very happy.
