Constant "Connie" J. Imming, Age 93 passed away on Tuesday, June 15th, 2021. Connie was born on September 21, 1927 in Newark, NJ. Son of Constant and Edith Imming, brother to Harry Imming and grandson to Anna Imming. Beloving husband to Jean Elizabeth Imming for 52 years, they raised five children in Oakland, NJ - Janice, Diane, Pam, Linda and Gary. As a young man he spent time in the merchant marines. Later, he had a career as a Partner/Owner of PHE Kraft Insurance in Hackensack, NJ where he worked until retirement. He relocated to Jupiter, FL with his wife Jean in 1995 where they spent the remainder of their years together. He was a loving husband, father of 5, grandfather of 9, and great-grandfather of 11. He loved his family, broadway plays, the opera, New York City restaurants "with white tablecloths", summers at the jersey shore, golfing at Ridgewood Country club (NJ) and Jonathan's Landing (FL). He loved to share stories of his Dutch heritage. He loved a party and hosted many. To his family and friends, please raise a glass and give a toast to our friend, Dad, Grandpa, and Great-grandpa, Connie. He will be deeply missed by his surviving family, Janice Rogers and husband, Rocky, of Plano, TX, Diane Vervaet of Highlands Ranch, CO, Pamela Bernhardt and husband, Dale, of Olathe, CO, Linda Smith of Centennial, CO, and Gary Imming of Boynton Beach, FL; and his loving grandchildren: Elizabeth Mitchell, Michael Rogers, Trevor Vervaet, Kaitlyn Schneider, Adrienne Loux, Luke Bernhardt, Clay Bernhardt, Michael Smith, Danny Smith, and their families.

I'll always remember the summer shore trips to Beachhaven, Grandpa teaching me to swim in his pool in Oakland, calling us "ignats", singing opera, bringing us to New York to Broadway shows, and of course his signature "Hey-O!". We love you and miss you Grandpa. Love, Adrienne, Ryan, Ryder and Porter Loux
