My Uncle Clydie was not only my favorite Uncle, he was like my brother. Of all of the King grandchildren he was the bestest of all. He was the one that stirred us up and caused chaos on purpose for fun. Quite often, Grandma had to get the broom after him. He would run from Grandma, because he intentionally was causing chaos!!! Grandma had him held up in the bathroom. You'd think…. Well, why didn't he crawl out the window… "He knew better than to mess up Grandma's Curtains." He would ask me, "Is Grandma still in the hallway?" Grandma shook her head, as in NO. OMG I told him no it's okay. He could come out. Then he got a whooping with the broom several times and he was trying to run out the back door. " Do not mess up my Grandmas curtains." Not no, but Hell NO." This was just one of the funniest moments of growing up with him and you would have to be there to completely grasp all the laughter.
