“Tell me what it is you plan to do with your one wild and precious life? When it’s over, I want to say: all my life I was a bride, married to amazement. I was the bridegroom, taking the world into my arms. Instructions for living a life: pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it.” - Mary Oliver Dedicated in memory of my brother: Christopher Mark Vicente

Chris was not just a great friend but an incredibly kind, supportive, and caring person in the public access community in Chicago. We met years ago at SXSW in Austin TX but regardless of distance or time he was always down to chat. It was a privilege to spend our last time together seeing some of the notable spots of Chicago and then split a deep dish at the studio.

To his family, Chris was a kind and helpful soul, friend, and coworker. Chris knew a lot of things including good restaurants. The picture is a perfect example where he recommended a nice place for our friend Beth and me to eat because of my family's dietary restrictions. Your friends and family will never forget you Chris. May you continue to rest in peace. ❤
