An avid photographer, a keen explorer, a dog lover, a teacher, a camping enthusiast, a science-mad intellectual, an opera singer, a tech whiz, a Shakespeare devotee, a grammar geek, a generous soul and a great friend, a brother, an uncle, a son...

Sadly, our much-loved brother, uncle and friend Chris passed away at his home on 22nd July 2024.

Our family have arranged a Celebration of Chris's life to be held on 6th September 2024. We would like to welcome you to this informal gathering and we invite your participation and sharing of your own stories and memories of Chris.

DATE: Friday 6th September 2024

TIME: 1.30pm for 2pm Start.

LOCATION: Yarra Glen Memorial Hall. Situated on the main street of Yarra Glen at the edge of McKenzie reserve.

As you would know, Chris has made friends across many varied work and social environments over the years. Your personal memories of times spent with Chris give context and meaning to a life well lived.

If you would like to speak about Chris or write something to be read out at the celebration please reply to this email. Also to assist with catering can I ask you to let us know if you are likely to be attending.

We know Chris would not want this to be a gloomy event but rather a happy remembrance of good times. Please feel free to wear something colourful.
