Hello I’m Chel’s auntie Liz . I’ve know Chel ever since she was a baby . Her mom is my best friend so her children are just like my children. I have so many beautiful memories of Chel from growing up to adulthood. Chel was my praise dancer! She could always whip up a praise dance that would keep you captivated the entire time she would dance. I’m still trying to process the fact that she’s no longer with us. Just doesn’t seem real. If it was within her power there’s nothing that she wouldn’t do for you. I’m gonna really miss her smile , her videos, and most of all her presence. Rest on babygirl I’ll see you again on that great getting up morning!

What is your earliest memory of Cherise?

I remember you while still in the womb. We were all in Germany and mom would get so tired when you were getting bigger. I was so anxious to meet you. I remember the time that we all ran off the school bus to come see you right after you were born. You had a wicker basinet. When we looked over in it, it was Mike! Lol. Mom was babysitting him and put him there for his nap. You are dad's favorite and we all knew it. His love for you shined bright. I loved seeing you two joke with each other. I remember the day Jayla was born. You were holding her and looking at her very observantly. Then you said, "What's wrong with this baby's eyes!?!" I got so nervous and you then you said, "they're grey!" You were the first to "see" Jayla's eyes. I love how you say Sydney. I love how you felt Nia looked more like you than me. Thank you for loving on my girls. They love you so much. You have always been self sufficient and independent. You didn't want me to act like your big sister all the time, but I remember the times you did. I enjoyed those times. I remember the biggest hug you ever gave me like it was yesterday. I will miss your laugh. But thank you for leaving us with your Tiktoks. They embody all the joys of you. I will miss you babygirl but I will carry you in my heart forever and always. Love, your big sis
