Charlotte M Sanchez, 92, went to the Lord on August 25-2011. Born in Raton, NM on March 24-1919. She was preceded in death by her parents Victor and Albina Martinez, the love of her life, husband Toby Clovis Sanchez Sr, sister Corina Martinez, brother Victor M Martinez, sons Toby Jr and baby Ernest, and nephew Ted Sanchez. Charlotte is survived by her children Roy Sanchez (Pueblo, CO), Steve (Lillian) Sanchez, Margie (Manuel) Ulibarri, and Virginia (Lawrence) Salazar all from Albuquerque. Numerous grand children, great grand children and great-great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Margaret Martinez and Tessie Martinez. Charlotte worked for many years at the Chico Shop. She retired after 26 years of working and was able to be with her husband Toby Clovis Sanchez, a local watch repairman. Charlotte will be greatly missed by her granddaughter Cynthia and George Castro who took care of her in her final years. Also, special friends Julia Johnson and Sandra Varos Forde. Charlotte took great pride in her many grand, great, and great-great grandchildren along with nieces and nephews. Funeral mass was held on August 27, 2011 at Rivera Chapel.

She is my new angel in heaven. She was my best friend on earth. Such an amazinng, gentle woman, who taught me so much about life. I love her so much. My sweet Charlotte.

Ray And Josie Valdez

As you know, Roy, Charlotte was like another mom to me as we grew up. She was always a loving lady, who raised a wonderful family, and always mentioned memories of my mom and dad. Our most sincere condolences to Roy,Steve, Margie, Virginia and respective families. May GOD bless all of you, greatly. We will join you Saturday in Taos.

Mrs. Sanchez was a beautiful person. She was always so kind and sweet. She always called my dad "Primo". I am sure we are related somehow. We will all miss her deeply. She was the matriarch of the Sanchez family. My deepest condolences to Steve, Roy, Margie and Virgina. She is now in the presence of the Lord

Mrs Sanchez was wonderful lady alway called me prima and Dad primo somehow we were related. She will not be alone Mom & Dad will be there to greet her as well as her created. My regrets to the family especially Roy & Steve, my friends. God bless the family. Love Naomi
