His Journey’s Just Begun
By Ellen Brenneman
Don't think of him as gone away,
his journey's just begun,
life holds so many facets,
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing,
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of him as living,
in the hearts of those he touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost
and he was loved so much.

The last time we were together was Brianna and Marshal’s wedding. When the DJ played “Sweet Caroline “ we all sang together. Even Charlie. It was beautiful seeing him having some joy in his life. I will miss him but I am glad that now he has peace. ❤️

Charlie or "Chuck" as I was only allowed to call him. I know he hated it but he let me get away with it! I will miss the calls whenever there was an earthquake or fire in California wondering if Larissa and I were alright. I will never forget the time we almost got a rental car majorly stuck on a mountain pass or doing simple things together such as laundry at the laundromat. Charlie was my biggest protector and cheerleader. Miss you Chuck.

Gone to young. He was a fierce protector. A great brother. You can finally rest pain free Charlie. I already miss you. When I talked to Charlie he always talked about his sisters and how much he loved them. He ended every conversation I had with him with I love you. I love you to Charlie.
