We will be honoring Chuck's life with the party he always wanted, complete with live music from 9:30-10:30pm. Please join us in celebrating all the great times we've had with him. Chuck was never a sad person so this won't be a sad event. This isn't a formal event, come dressed for a concert or however you are comfortable - he wouldn't care as long as it makes you happy.

We did talk about what kind of send off we would want, and all he ever wanted was a party. He also wanted people to tell stories about a time he made them laugh. We hope to be able to record some of those stories at the event to share with you all afterward.

We will have mementos from his life on display: things he collected, his favorite artwork, memorabilia from his bands, etc.

We were married 36 years and did amazing things that growing up we never expected. He learned to snow ski - which he thought he would hate - and fell in love with Lake Louise, Canada as a result. We took up scuba diving and traveled to Honduras, Thailand and Hawaii. We swam with a pod of wild dolphins and pilot whales. We attended two Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies where he was thrilled to see some legendary performers.

While we never had children, Chuck loved his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed his family and friends and loved nothing more than throwing a party. Many a New Year's Eve was spent playing Craps on our pool table.

I hope many of you can make it, I know we are late getting the RSVPs up but we've been spreading the word. Let's have a party so great Chuck will be mad he missed it.

Thank you,
Toni Carlson
