Loved Ones

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7

On September 26, 2026, Libby Leahjane Lloyd, 76, entered into the eternal presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, leaving behind a profound legacy of Christian faith and family devotion.

Libby was born May 3, 1950, to Barbara and Arthur Buzzard. She grew up alongside her two older brothers, Bob and Gary, and her younger brother, Art. At the tender age of 12, Libby met the love of her life, Harold, who was 16 at the time. Their enduring love story truly began four years later when they were united in marriage on February 11, 1967.

In their early years together, they lived in San Diego, California, while Harold proudly served in the United States Navy. Following his service, they moved to Gilchrist, Oregon, before ultimately settling in 1980 at their current residence in Crescent, Oregon, where they built a beautiful life grounded in community and faith.

Libby spent her life as a steadfast follower of Jesus Christ. Her greatest earthly joy was her family, and nothing brought a brighter smile to her face than her grandchildren. She poured boundless love, wisdom, and prayers into their lives, teaching them the beauty of faith and the depth of a grandmother's love. Whether someone came into the family through marriage, a relationship, or because they were connected to one of the people she loved, she considered them part of her family. Her warmth, open heart, and devotion to God’s Word illuminated the lives of all who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Harold Lloyd; her loving children, Sheri Ann Headley and Shela Renae Buerger (Ron); her cherished grandchildren, Tre Buerger (Destinee), Colton Little (Taylor), Shane Buerger (Kayla), Triston Little (Jessie), Bellamie Stricker (Adam), Luke Buerger (Harlee), Isaac Buerger (Hannah), and honorary granddaughter Carlie Parsons; and her precious great-grandchildren, Charlie Buerger, Hayden Buerger, Hunter Little, Braxton Buerger, Colter Buerger, Riley Little, and Harper Little.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Arthur Buzzard, and her three brothers, Bob, Gary, and Art.

An overflowing thanks to those who helped take such good care of Libby towards the end of her earthly journey: Marcie Hurley, her grandchildren, and the hospice team at Partners in Care.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday October 17th, 2026 @ 1pm, lunch provided, at the First Baptist Church in Crescent, Oregon. In leiu of flowers, a donation can be made to Partners in Care Hospice or to First Baptist Church with the Memo: Missionary Fund.
