My wife Forrest and I wish to extend our sincere condolences to Henry and his family. The passing of Cathy was a surprise to us and saddened us. She was a wonderful person, teacher, and friend. Furthermore, she was a valued colleague of mine at WVU-P -- a relationship that originated when the college was located on Parkersburg's Emerson Avenue in 1967 and continued until my retirement in 1999. One of the finest educators PCC/WVUP was fortunate to have on their staff. No one was more dedicated to her students than Cathy. Iâ??ll miss not seeing her smile and her infectious sense of humor.

My sympathies to her family. She was one of the biggest influences in me becoming the woman I am today. Loved traveling with her to tournaments! Many stories! My first Krispy Kreme donut before they were cool! Thank you Catherine! Your legacy lives on.
