Loved Ones

Your kindness radiated from you, may we all find a piece of that along this journey.

Her story began 79 years ago in Clarendon Texas, born to Ellis Alfred Hutto and Goldie Myrtle Hutto (née Barton) on June 19th 1943 born Carolyn Sue Hutto. She was a woman who could find peace and joy in the simple things in life; being with her family, collecting stories, and travelling wherever she could go. A true champion of the under-dog, she always wanted to be remembered for being kind and she most certainly will. A giving person by nature, she always gave everything she could to anyone in need. She loved taking photos, espescially polaroids and was very dissappointed when they lost popularity, she loved saving moments to revisit later.

Family

She wore many hats during her lifetime but her favorite was most likely being a mother. She married James Howard Ward on June 8th 1959 in Liberty County Texas, and together they raised 5 children, Eric, Christina, Angelina, Howard, and Dawn. She is survived by all of her children and grandchildren who will always hold her in their hearts.

Career

Carolyn loved to travel, she loved to visit family and drove from Texas to Alaska to do so. She drove a school bus for 19 years before taking on the role of a taxi driver. She would often have stories to tell of her passengers, some exuded her firm, undeniable strength, some showed her compasion and empathy.
