I remember Caitlyn (sometime between college and her mission) went to leave and hangout with some friends after a family gathering with wet hair. The weather that night was cold & as she went to leave, her mom told her that she’d get sick from having her hair wet in that weather. She still went out that night, she just dried her hair with a blow dryer first 😆

I think one of my favorite memories of Cait was just watching her become a mother! She would Marco me or call me almost daily with videos of her and Linc! She was so proud of him and how smart he is! She said that Lincoln didn’t sleep well and she would always tell him “sleep is for the weak”. She always made the best of her situation and no matter how little of sleep she got she was always so happy to be a mom!

I will never forget how organized Cait was when she was little. Everything had its place. Bailee & I would intentionally move things just a smidge to mess with her! Going into high school was so fun! Her backpack + binders were so organized. I am not going to lie I was a bit jealous of the way she did things! She set herself up for success by being organized!

What is the funniest moment you had together?
Caitlyn had the ability to make anyone laugh at any moment! I think one of my favorite memories of her making is laugh was just the last family get together before she passed away. We were all sitting together and playing a game of MadGab. Her and I were both very pregnant but were getting so into the game and by the end we were all laughing and enjoying the night together!

What lesson(s) did Caitlyn teach you?
Cait was the most thoughtful mother. She new her purpose & made sure she was the best that she could offer. I admire the way she took care of her children. She would research everything. She read so many books of sleep training, wake windows, the best pacifier, all things mother. I thought she was semi crazy! She was the best mother I have ever had the privilege of watching.
