Bruce A Hall, 78 of Hooksett NH, passed away peacefully on June 29th, 2023, with his family by his side, after a short illness. He was the loving husband of Darlene Hall (Robie) for 56 years.

Bruce was born on July 21st, 1945 in Concord MA, the son of the late Allie Hall and Barbara Hall. Bruce had one brother, Robert Hall, predeceased.

Bruce grew up in Hooksett, NH. He earned his degree in Electrical Engineering from Wentworth Institute in Boston, MA and also attended Boston University.

He married his wife Darlene in 1967 - someone he had known since Elementary School. They began their married life in Taiwan as he served 4 years in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Bruce excelled in his professional career in Management at New England Telephone - now Verizon. He retired after 30 years - and continued his career in Operations and CEO level management for various organizations.

In addition to an incredible work ethic, Bruce was an amazing Dad and loved his family. He enjoyed working on projects around the house in his spare time, never needing to pay anyone to fix anything. He also loved yard work, the Red Sox, playing golf, pretty much any dog, and a good lobstah roll in Maine.

He is survived by his wife Darlene, his children Shannon Luszczak (Hall), and Derrick Hall, his son-in-law Rich Luszczak and daughter-in-law Tracy Hall, two grandchildren; Hannah Hall and Chloe Hall, several nieces and nephews as well as his two granddogs - Bentley and Milo.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Shore Animal League.

Such sad news to hear of Bruce’s passing. Bruce and I go back a long way! I relate to most of the early pictures on the Obituary website. Bruce and I were best friends in grammar school (I am upper right corner in the “Happy School Days” picture on the obituary website) and especially at Pembroke Academy we hung together, double dated often and got up to a bit of mischief together! And we also were in the Air Force at the same time and stationed together at Lowrey AFB in Denver, CO. So many memories… So sad that we cannot make it over to the Celebration of Life and seeing family and some of the common friends from the good old days. We are all living in UK now and for the past 40+ years. My wife Lisa (Pacun) never met Bruce, but knows about many of the stories of the shenanigans we got up to! My daughter Clare moved over to UK with us in 1983 and lives up the road from us with hubby Mat and 4 (grand)kids. My son Stephan (30) lives and works in London and Daughter Danni did also, but has now taken a job in NYC and has lived there for 6 months. All are doing great. Deepest condolences go out to the Hall family and relatives.

Some of my absolute best childhood memories were of the friendship turned family relationship we had with Bruce and his family. I always admired him as a father and an amazing provider and a great friend to my parents.
