Briana Loren Stover
October 14th, 1982 - May 9th, 2021
October 14th, 1982 - May 9th, 2021
Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear.
With a fearless spirit and radiant smile, Briana brought joy to her friends and family.
At 38 years old, Briana Loren Stover departed this life on May 9, 2021, Mother’s Day, and got to go be with her baby Layla Grace.
Briana was born on October 14, 1982, in Denver, Colorado, and grew up in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
When she walked into a room with her long flowing hair, gracious swagger, and Birkenstocks, Briana‘s presence could not go unnoticed. She loved her 4 legged baby, Maggie. She loved making good food for good people. Her dream was to open a cafe and give people the perfect bite. Her favorite flower was the daisy, her favorite animal was butterflies, and of course her dog. Her favorite color was green. She loved to go out for coffee and lunch. She believed in her loving God and she brought out the best in the people that were blessed to have known her. She lived her life fully and with grace.
Briana gave her best and she was the best. She was the gift.
Briana is survived by her parents, Dennis Stover, and Maureen and David Phifer, half-sister Nicola Stover, and step siblings Jeffrey Phifer, David Phifer, James Phifer, and Amanda Phifer. She is also survived by her husband, George Leon, many uncles and aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Briana was a caring and giving person; she did not get her liver transplant in time but successfully gave her heart, lungs, and each kidney to save the life of 4 people.
Briana was cremated. Funeral Services will be held on May 23, 2021, at Butterfly Pavilion 6252, West 104th Avenue Westminster, CO, 80020 from 3-6 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Bri's Sober Sisters Foundation.

I'm so sorry my tribute is so beyond late. I just recently became aware of Bri's passing. I met Bri at Campus Middle School when we were 13. She was my first ever date to a dance, and my first kiss at Skate City in 1996. We remained friends throughout high school, as I would drive her to Cherry Creek PREP each day, and each day, she would make us late!! She always had my back, and never put up with my nonsense! She always kept it real with me, and I'm sorry that we lost touch after graduation. Bri will always have a special place in my heart, and I pray that her memory is a blessing for her family and friends.

I know Brianna as Bri from growing up around the Phifer clan and was always fully taken in by her spirit, warm loving smile and ability to make everyone around her feel so special ❤ She fits the description of daisies because they always grow with such beauty and strength. Butterflies

Wow Briana, I finally got the courage to seek you out and now you are gone. There hasn’t been a time in my life that I have not thought of you. The remarkable beautiful person that you are has never been lost to me. I do not have social media accounts so this news never made it to me. It has taken me a week just to write to you now, not sure who to talk to about this so I figured I would just talk to you. The flood gates have opened with I think every day we ever had together, nothing better than just the two of us all those times driving to poach your folk’s cabin in Breck. Perhaps tearing multiple pairs of pants sneaking into your room up climbing the fireplace in the middle of the night! I will always cherish the time we spent together. I never got the chance to tell you maybe I was too shy or scared. I love you, I miss you

I am unable to attend the service today for Briana. Many things about Bri I miss. But the most is the comfort she gave me when talking to her. She truly listened did not tone me out. Being her friend was never a competition but a true exchange. She was genuine never playing games. She did not know a stranger and making that person feel special. Was not judgmental because she didn’t want to be judged either. Such a special person to me. I miss her and cherish the times we spent together.

Briana ❤️- My Heart cries, and I think of you with so much love and remember all our fun times we had so many years ago. You loved to dance and we danced a lot, and had a blast together. You loved to learn danish words and laughed a lot with me. I’ll never forget you ❤️ I’m sending all my love to your wonderful family. Helle
