As I listened to the service I felt the need grab a pen and paper and I wanted to share what I wrote: Brenda has the spirit of God living with her. Christ strengthened her with the inner workings of the the Holy Spirit. Brenda's faith gave birth to her purpose and her perseverance. Antoinette and I have been friends for 20 years. What I will hold in my heart is how loving and gentle Brenda was with Antoinette. I watched her help plan her wedding and buy a Barbie doll that matched her wedding dress. I have a very vivid memory of a hot, peaceful Vegas night where Brenda was walking with Antoinette and helping her carry heavy things into her apartment. I feel like that is a perfect memory of a mother and daughter. Gentle, helpful and loving. Lord, giver her family strength and clarity, Lord, give their hearts comfort. Give them our strength as we cover them in prayer. What a beautiful legacy she has on earth.
