Bob Gorham

Bob Gorham (11/5/1959-8/11/2020) was raised in the South Valley, riding his horse Hank along ditch banks, and skipping kindergarten in apple orchards near his home. He married Jeanne in 1982, and they raised their daughter Destany in Albuquerque. Bob was a fierce protector of friends and family. He was quick to deliver a withering phrase and slow to fight; the words were almost always enough to set things right and move the world along. Bob reveled in always having “a guy” for everything. He was the great connector of people, always looking for ways to help friends and strangers. He loved solving problems and providing solutions for friends and for clients in his home improvement business, Gorham’s Custom Construction. Bob loved working to make people’s homes what they dreamed they could be. He was passionate, and dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge. Bob would read the obituaries every day-- he would say “I have to check and make sure I haven't died”. He is survived by many friends and relatives who carry stories of him through their lives. A memorial gathering will be planned for a safe time in the future.
