Billy Allen Sr. Came into the world on July 28th 1944 in Wicks Arkansas. Billy was strong willed even as a child. It showed his strength as a young boy when he contracted polio and lost the use of his right arm. This would never define him, he would go on to show the people he knew and loved that with hard work and perseverance you could achieve anything. During the Vietnam era while most of his friends were drafted Billy served his country assembling bombs in Florida, From there he would go on to become a milkman. Billy would often talk about all of the people that he met going door to door. Billy had several other jobs after this, but the one that meant the most to him was the city of Fort Worth Texas. Billy started at the city painting fire hydrants and stayed there long enough to earn a waste water treatment license, he made many memories and friends there before he retired. If you knew him well then you knew he could run a backhoe and absolutely loved it. Billy had a great passion for love and for life, he love to travel and did travel coast to coast, he loved the outdoors, and he loved his family. Billy really loved spending a lazy Sunday watching the Dallas Cowboys play And lounging with his wife Mandi and his favorite dog Ace. My very first pic up truck was a 1972 blue Ford Courier. My Dad could have just gave me that truck but he knew I would learn more about life if I worked for it. So I painted the house for my Dad and here's a pic of what my first truck looked like. One of a million memories that I have, because of my Dad.

I know that in Heaven the population has grown, because another Saint is at home. If you knew my Dad, I know that you liked him and that if you were just a stranger to him that he still treated you with kindness. Today as I write, I wipe away tears, moreover I smile, remembering all of the years. Maybe I was just a young boy with him at a tent at the lake, or later graduating boot camp and there was my Dad, man he was great...........

I was in a barn loft catching pigeons for my Dad, I said, " Dad this one is biting me!" He told me to put him in the bag. Dad named him Walter Pigeon Hawk and he looked just like the one pictured.
