Benjamin Lee Tant, 31, of Spring, TX passed away February 10, 2022. He was born February 19, 1990 in Houston to Gina Marchese Joe. Ben had a smile that light up every room he walked into. A jokester at heart, he was always so clever and witty, and as he would say, very punny. He loved fishing and everything that was backyard botanical. He was a true friend and brother to many. He will be sorely missed. Benjamin is survived by his children, Logan Tant and Luke Tant; mother, Gina M. Joe; and sister, Ginnifer Joe. Benjamin was preceded in death by his brothers, John Anthony Tant and James Michael Tant; step-father, Franklin Joe. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 24th at 11:00 AM at Christ the Good Shepherd, 18511 Klein Church Rd, Spring, TX 77379

There are several memories that I have with Ben that truly captured the kind of big brother he was. From setting up a treasurer hunt to waking me up from a nightmare when he was babysitting me, but I think the story that portrays him best is the time he and his friend took me to the neighborhood park, and I fell in the mud. I slid down the slide and at the bottom, my bottom was covered in mud. I started crying, and Ben consoled me by telling me, "It just looks like you pooped your pants. It's okay that's what all the cool kids do. He (pointing to his friend) does it all the time." Ben could you make laugh even when you were crying. He was the brother closest to me in age and never let me forget how much he loved me. I'll carry him with me in my heart forever. There's not another brother out there like him <3
