My Dear Uncle, I've cried a bit and laughed a bit since I heard the news of your passing. I've tried to remember the good times and sorrow less knowing that you're resting with Christ. I've always known you as fun guy, full of life, always optimistic. You had an adventurous spirit and a taste for exotic foods- porcupines, snakes, crocodile pepper soup, any Bush meat. You always had something like that when you visited, or we visited. You would call me "Adolu" like me British friends who couldn't pronounce my name. You had a fun way of telling stories, and you'd remind me of my primary school encounter where I introduced myself as Adeolu Omo Baba Deola 😊. I'd always known you as a loving person and after my dad died you were ever so present in our lives. You called regularly, you stayed over with us in Ibadan. I planned to take the kids by to Ede and I wanted it to coincide with when you were in Osogbo- so they could get a taste of the fun too, sadly you won't be there to give them an authentic taste of things when they come. It has been a week since you were buried, I woke up this morning and remembered your smiley face and those memories, you were a loving person and you were well loved. Rest in Peace,Rise in Glory.

Daddy, as I called you because you well deserved to be called one. You were married to my mom younger sister, that literally made you my uncle but you were indeed a father to all. Most of my memorable relationships with you were recorded after the passing of my Aunty. You welcomed me even when you can easily excuse yourself. Thank you daddy! ADIEU daddy!

I can never forget my first encounter with daddy. On that faithful day, I was stunned to realize that a dad could be really close to his children, I saw in him a very pleasant dad who I will forever have very good memories of. Even on his sick bed, he remained ever pleasant. May his soul rest in peace. Damilola Odeyemi
IBUKUN AJIBOLA
As a staff in Fed Poly Offa, where papa worked last,I met a respectable and amiable personality.I never knew that will be our last and final meeting. However, what brought us together was an intervention in a students case, who he was passionate about. We handled the matter amicably and his personality left an impression in my mind till date. John 5:28,29 talks about assured hope of resurection & Rev 21:4 Death will be no more. The God of all comfort will soothe the heart of the entire family. We express our sympathy.. From the Ajibolas.Lagos. Nigeria.

I met him in the 70s and was closed to the family in Ilupeju, Lagos. He was fun to be with and full of jokes any time in the house.. Even despite time and distance for over 4 decades, he never forgot my truancy l played. About 5years ago when we saw in Ijebu Ife, he brought some of the events back to life and the atmosphere changed to laughter. Adieu Brother Tunde. Rest in peace.

My dear Uncle Tunde, I have very fond memories of my Uncle " Uncle Tunde" He had a unique way of calling me " Adeoscololo" whenever he called me on the phone. He never forgot to call me on my birthdays!!!!. I remember when I was around 10 years old and he came visiting, he would whistle "Adeoscololo" from outside and I would dash downstairs to go embrace him. He became a father to me after my dad passed away. He was so full of life and very young at heart. I will miss all the memorable times that we shared together especially the when he visited in recent years May his soul Rest In Peace
