A year ago today I woke to terrible news. You where gone. U had many battles Ben, so the only thing that brings peace is that U are finally finished battling Ur demands and hopefully Ur mind is at rest. My family and I all took the day to share memories we have of you and share some as you say "Wacky Tabacky" U will never be forgotten Ben. One of the best blokes we ever had the privileged of knowing. RIP

You and your family have been weighing heavily on my mind lately. I still can't get my head around the fact you are no longer here. U made the world a better place Ben, U always tried your hardest to make people smile if they where down and gave your all to your job. I loved the love you always had and showed towards your family. You would always talk about them like they where your biggest achievement and they where your all. I couldn't imagine the hole your absence has left within your family. The people who had the privilege of getting to know you will never forget you, as U where a one of a kind dude. Missing ya Ben!

Benny boy, you were a great friend/brother to me. We grew up to men from boys together, wrote some pretty crap, but funny music together. We skated, we jammed, we partied, we learned from each other. I’m so sorry we fell apart, I always thought that “one day” we’d reunite as we always said we would. Unfortunately the demons can take us and I knew and should’ve tried harder to help you. You’ll always be remembered you “Weasel” .. much love “Mr Mud” Beautiful family videos Amanda. Love to you and the kids.

I am only just finding out now that he has passed.. truly gutted. Ben was one of the best people to have ever entered my life and always made me feel better throughout the bad times. Thinking of you and your children, Renate and Steve who were amazing parents and Tanya, my best friend through High School and always like a sis to me. Ben loved you all so much. My heart breaks for you all ❤️ much love x

Ben was one of my first mates when I moved to Batemans Bay in 1992. We used to skateboard together for hours and I would show him stuff on the guitar and he got me into so much music that I still listen to. One of the funniest memories I have of him is when we would be out skating around a night and he would just randomly walk into a restaurant with his hair covering his face and yell scaring all the people eating and we would run off laughing. OMG the video of him in his bedroom bought back so many memories of listening to music, watching music film clips and just chilling out talking. I had run into him on a few occasions over the last 20 years and it was good to catch up those times even if it was a quick chat. RIP Ben and my condolences to your Family.
