Barry Bertola

Born in Santa Fe, NM, to Aileen Wilson and Raymond Bertola, Barry is survived by his wife, Emily Bertola, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage. He worked for Santa Fe County for 25 years before retiring. He is preceded in death by his son, Dale Bertola, and his brothers, Gene and Fred Bertola.
Barry is survived by his three grandchildren: Collin, Landen, and Lara Bertola; and great-grandchildren: Joaquin and Zachariah Mascarenas, Geanna and Raini Bertola, and Daelynn and Danielle Encinias.
Barry was a very loving and generous person during his 84 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was loved by many and will be terribly missed.
A rosary and mass will be held October 14, 2024 at 9:00 AM at St. Anne's Parish, located at 511 Alicia Street, Santa Fe, NM 87501, followed by mass and burial at Santa Fe Memorial Gardens, 417 Rodeo Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87505. A reception will follow.

What lesson(s) did Barry teach you?
How to fish and how to gut a fish, what to do in the event of.... how to save money, (which I'm bad at doing) how to ride a bike, how to tie my shoe, how to value things in life... I can go on and on.
