Let the memory of Barbara be with us forever until the resurrection promise at Job 14:14-15 is fulfilled. Job 14:15 "You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands." NWT Bible
Barbara Jean Hall Edmonson was born November 7th, 1942, to Elisha Melvin Hall, Sr. and Mattie Louise Hall in Memphis, Tennessee. Barbara graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1960. Barbara dedicated her life to Jehovah on October 25, 1979. She loved studying the Bible with people and sharing the wonderful promises that God’s Kingdom will bring to this earth. She spent many hours in the ministry preaching and teaching others about what the Bible really teaches. Her life course of faith to her God Jehovah, has been a shining example to those who knew her as a loyal friend and confidant.

Barbara leaves to cherish her memory, her grandson Ethan Luke Clifton, her adopted son JaSanto (Tracy) Williams. Her three sisters Delores (Joe) Brown, Martha (Morris) Walker, Doris Jean (George) Dowdy.
Preceding her in death were her siblings Marion (L.C.) Bailey and Elisha Melvin Hall Jr. She also leaves her adopted grandchildren Harrison E. Williams, Kelsie D. Jones, Jordan Williams, Karmen M. Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved dearly.
Isaiah 25:8 “He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces…”

I will always remember Mrs. Edmondson as loving, generous, nice and compassionate. She will be missed dearly. It hurts so bad knowing she is gone, but my heart is full with joy knowing she is at peace. I am so glad I got to speak with this year before she passed. She was as lovely as ever. I will be praying for the family.

When we think of Barbara Edmonson the word hospitable comes to mind. Barbara loved to do for others. She made you feel as though you were a part of her family. Also, the way she raised her daughters is worthy of imitation. Her love of the scriptures has helped many to come to know our loving Creator Jehovah and his future for mankind. We will miss Barbara dearly but look forward to seeing her and Bro. Slim very soon. April, Monica and the Edmonson family our prayers continue to be with you.
