March 18th, 1953 - April 15th, 2022
We have created this memorial page in loving memory of Mr Avinash ‘Raju’ Puranikmath.
Avinash was a devout Hindu, loving Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, and friend to many.
He touched the lives of everyone he met. He was forever the gentlemen, the joker and the caregiver to everyone around him.
The family would really appreciate if you shared your favourite memories, stories and photos here. We would love to hear how Avinash touched your lives or of any stories you have to share.

Although I never met Avinash, I have the pleasure of being good friends with his daughter Amrita. I could see so clearly how much Amrita loved and cared immensely for her dad, and how much he inspired her throughout her university, professional career and general life. She would tell me her dad is such a joker, and is the life of the party. I can tell it's where she gets her sense of humour from! Rest in peace Avinash. Shobha, Amrita and Sunil will always be with you, and you with them. Xx

Dearest Avi, you certainly made our working days at JPM so much fun. You were always coming into our 'office' to visit me, Eleen, Janice & Marie to discuss a very serious issue you were having with TLM but we knew you just wanted to take a break, escape from your team and have a good chit chat with us. In fact you did become a defacto part of our team both in and outside of work. I can still hear your laughter and will cherish these memories forever. I am honoured to have known you and am blessed that our paths crossed in this world. May you rest in peace and see you on the other side mate. Sincere condolences to you Shobha, Amrita & Sunil. Lots of love from Jeannette & Edy.

We will always remember you fondly Raju. Your favourite joke with Ishaan when he was around 5 years old was to say, 'You took my hair!" pointing to Ishaan's full head of hair. It did provide a bit of worry to him, wondering how this cold have happened. You always had a smile. You always showed such dignity. You always showed much love to all. You will be missed by your family and friends.

My beautiful friend who will be so dearly missed such a kind and caring man. Met him at JPMorgan 2006 and have been privileged to have him in my life long after leaving and getting to know his gorgeous wife Shobha. Loved our catchups as weren’t enough of them as was looking forward to so many more as you were taken way too soon for us. You’ll always be in our hearts RIP ❤️
