Aubrey was one of the coolest people I’ve ever met. We were housemates for about 7 months in 2018 in Vancouver, and we kept in contact for a long time afterwards. I will always remember the good times we had during that period. He was truly a good person and a great friend! I wanted to say hi for his birthday today and found out about the sad news. I hope he was enjoying life in his last days and was as happy as I always saw him, despite everything. Happy birthday, my friend. Thank you for everything you taught me and for all the good times!! See you in another life, brother. Love from Chile.

Alison Dorrington
Aubrey carried a name that sounded strong and noble, and in many ways, he lived up to it. There was a quiet strength about him — the kind that didn’t need to be loud to be felt. He had his own way of moving through the world, leaving impressions on people that lasted long after conversations ended. He experienced life in his own unique way, and those of us who knew him best understood the depth beneath the surface. He leaves behind his sister, Alison Dorrington, his brother, Graham Dorrington, born to Elsa Dorrington (deceased), and his beloved niece and nephew, Angel Johnson and Patrick Johnson, born to Karen Johnson (deceased). To each of us, Aubrey was something different — a brother, an uncle, a memory-maker, a voice on the other end of the phone, a familiar laugh, a shared story from long ago. The roles he played in our lives cannot be replaced. Rest peacefully. You are loved beyond measure, and you will never be forgotten.
