Arthur Roberson

Arthur “Chuck” Roberson was a graduate of Lemoyne College in Memphis Tn. Chuck chose a career in teaching with the Shelby County systems. Chuck was passionate about teaching. Whenever Chuck and I would walk in a mall some young adult would come to thank Chuck for his mentorship. Even though Chuck’s colleagues would debate the challenges of providing quality education for the students, their passion for teaching was always on display. Chuck loved playing his drums and listening to music. So, when Chuck and his friends came to visit in California, I treated them to a Grover Washington Jr concert at the Berkley Amphitheater. It was the happiest that I ever saw Chuck wearing an ear to ear smile.
