Anthony Duarte

June 9th, 1980 - October 29th, 2025
On Wednesday, October 29th, Gil Anthony Duarte passed in his home. He lived with a joyously loud presence, bearing a contagious smile and energy. He shared laughs with all. He was an ally, a friend, a hard worker, and a resilient fighter. He exemplified passion and service; bringing up the community that raised him was of utmost importance to him. Anthony believed that we should help each other accomplish all things. He was an exceptional father. Love is most demonstrated in action, and he took action at every opportunity. He opened his home and heart to all, and that is why he will be remembered by so many as the shimmering light he was.

My deepest condolences to Anthony’s family and friends. Gone too soon. He was always so kind and ready to share a laugh. May he watch over those he loved from the Heavens above and may he rest in God’s eternal peace. 🕊️

I am still in disbelief that our beloved Anthony has gone home to be with our Father God. He will be truly, deeply missed—his smile, his charm, and the way he was always the life of the party. Anthony was more than just a friend; he was family. He was that loving cousin, that sometimes annoying big brother who would tease you, but love you with his whole heart. Anthony, may you rest in paradise, bringing your light and joy to heaven the way you did here with us. We will always love you, we will always miss you, and we hold onto the hope that we will see you again one day. 🌹🤍

You and Anthony were such a big part of our lives. We are so grateful for the fun times we had wine tasting, traveling to Paris & London, and the many game nights & fun times we had in each other's homes. I'm going to miss him & our endless text bantering!

Anthony made me feel seen. 1st words were usually something funny. He made others feel welcomed, and valued. He listened and contributed his depth of knowledge. His contributions will carry on. I sure will miss Anthony.
