Loved Ones

Anibal was an extraordinary loving man full of joy! He was a loving caring father and husband and such a beloved family member, friend and co-worker. Anibal and his wife Aida were married for 33 years and loved each other deeply. He met his wife when he was 15 years old at a youth group in church. (La Primera Iglesia Bautista de Hialeah) and after a loving "glued to each other" three years teenagers relationship, they married right after high school! After experiencing the painful loss of their first baby girl, Anibal and Aida had their beloved son Jonathan, who filled their lives with happiness and joy. Anibal passionately worked serving the children in need and will be forever remembered for his dedication and hard work, his advocacy for the children and his unconditional love for them. Anibal impacted so many lives with his generous heart always taking initiative to help others and just getting the job done! His infectious smile and good humor will be forever in our hearts. He was simply loved by everyone who crossed his path, especially the children! Anibal loved children and was notorious for playing with them "just like a little kid". He gave himself 100 % to make children laugh and spoil them! After a painful battle with Covid, Anibal went to the presence of our Lord on September 1st, 2021. With profound pain and proudness we celebrate his life today 9/29/21 that would have been his 53rd birthday. Please share with his wife Aida and his son Jonathan your condolences and all the wonderful and cherished memories you have with Anibal! The Stephenson Family thank you for all your loving support. God bless us all!

I was a foster child at His House children’s home. I wanted to come and pay my respects for him and his family. Aníbal was a really awesome man. He helped my family get back together after a long time from being separated. He made a big impact with my parents. He was a great listener and mentor. I remember drawing something for him as a token of my appreciation for all he has done for me and my family. It meant a lot to me all the work and time he had put as a case worker to help my family. Aníbal thank you. You were a light to many and now now even brighter with the Lord. Rest in paradise.

You left us too soon but I promise to look after Aida and Jonathan. Thank you for being such a kind and beautiful soul. You always made me laugh and made me feel loved. The world was a better place with you in it and we were so lucky to call you family. Love you and miss you dearly, Fany.

Aside from the loss his loved ones feel, the world suffered a loss! Anibal gave his time, heart and soul to children in need. I never understand, when people that do so much good and are needed to help those in need, are taken from us way too soon. On top of all that he did with children in need, he was a great friend, father and husband. Truly one of the nicest people you could ever be lucky enough to have met. My heart is broken. Prayers for peace to his wife, Aida and son Johnathan. God bless Anibal!

Although we know where are you are it’s still hurts. When I remember you I remember that bright beautiful smile, that sense of urgency walk, oh and who can forget the funny not so funny jokes sometimes. You served with dignity And integrity. With your example you taught us that no child was bad they just needed teaching moments. Actually, You always chose to see the best in people. You were not only just our boss, But you also were our brother in Christ. I count myself blessed amongst the many Who walked and served alongside you and were able to see love in action. you made it seem easy, fun, and of utmost importance that the children in care felt, loved wanted and special. you connected them to Jesus..and that there was nothing that we couldn’t do because God always provided and made a way where there seem to be no way. You were a man that believed God. You always had a word of encouragement and a sense of humor would go hand-in-hand. I Thank you and your family for your service unto the Lord! Your labor of love in the Lord will pass on to your children and your children’s children and all of the children and people that came through the lives of the Stephenson‘s. Aida and Jonathan i Accompany you in your deepest pain. Please know we are here for you! We are family. Until we meet again Anibal we will miss you Love, Julieta and the Chef. (that’s what he called us)
