Angela "Grandma Mommy" Kwalar

Grandma Mommy Angela Kwalar passed away on May 15, 2026. Known for her warmth, sharp wit, and a laugh that could light up any room, she was a bone marrow cancer survivor whose strength was matched only by her love for her family and friends.

A gifted cook, Grandma Mommy was legendary for her chin chin, beans and corncharff — and her ice cream truck became the backdrop for some of her grandchildren's most treasured memories. She lived with her daughter Vivian and deeply loved all her daughters, her sblings Beatrice, Agnes, and Joel , and her lifelong best friend Doris — known to all as Mama Lady.
