Angela Carole Knight
December 25th, 1966 - December 7th, 2020
December 25th, 1966 - December 7th, 2020
Springtime in Paris
Angela lost her battle with melanoma a few short weeks before her birthday this year. We are heartbroken at the loss of Angela -- loving sister to everyone, beloved wife to Darrell, and sweet mother to Robert and Jack.
Angela was a source of laughter, light, and love for all of us.
Ang had a gift of creating community, welcoming people into it, and broadening that community circle wider and wider; everyone felt a sense of belonging she so lovingly and naturally cultivated. Her neighborhood, the Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy community, and her WorkBoard team, and so many more hubs of connection she built and fed. Please share your love, stories, and memories of Angela with all who loved her here ... she's alive in our hearts, our words, and our deeds.

I can't believe you're gone, what a strong, courageous, & vibrant kick in the pants woman! I met you when I 1st worked with Jack at Semper and through HS and you NEVER lost your drive to fight for your boys. You even.brought Kassidy presents to the hospital even though it meant I had to miss time with Jack. When I had to quit working with Jack you were so understanding. Fly high beautiful, you surely left an amazing mark on our world and in hearts

I remember Angela as someone with child like enthusiasm and infectious energy around her, wether it was talking about WorkBoard onboarding or Star Wars. I'll miss her presence in company get togethers, bi-weekly meetings and as the co-ordinator of thoughtful weekly flowers and other pick-me-ups. Deepest condolences to everyone that was touched by her and is missing her presence.

Smiling, organizing, celebrating, lending a helping hand. Those are words that come to mind when I think of Angela. It seems as though almost everyone knew Angela in some way – some deeply connected with her life while others hovered on the periphery. I was one on the periphery, but I always felt welcome and included in her presence – whether I had the privilege of helping out during her charity golf tournaments, attending her holiday parties or simply running into her at Fuzzy’s Tacos. I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear the news of her passing. I honestly can’t really fathom our neighborhood without her. She was the leader of the Westcliff Mom’s Group – arranging GNOs, celebrating births by coordinating homecooked meals and so much more. She was truly a champion for others. I pray that the broken hearts she left behind can mend, that the good memories will bring smiles instead of tears and that we can all continue her legacy by being kindhearted, giving and joyful. Hugs to everyone hurting right now.

Angela welcomed so many to the WorkBoard family and left a lasting imprint on the company and its culture. One of my fondest memories of Angela is our donut date, shortly after the shutdown in March, which we turned into an extended happy hour. She was funny and wise and kind. The world is dimmer without her light in it. I miss her. My deepest condolences to Angela's family.

Angela was one of those people that welcomed you in and made you a part of her family. She was so dynamic, warm and fun to be around. Her dedication to the Muscular Dystrophy community was amazing. She was an incredible woman! My heart goes out to Darrell, Jack and Robert. Keep her wonderful memories in your hearts.
