Angela (Angel) Koppes

Angela (Angel) Marie Koppes born on June 14,1964 and taken into God's arms on September 23, 2022. Angel had a green thumb and could heal and grow any plant naturally. She was happiest when she was in the garden or looking for rocks, stones and pebbles. She had the soul of an artist and the ability to see beauty in all of God’s creation. Angel was a free spirit and could turn the most ordinary things into works of art. Fittingly, most of Angel’s art revolved around drawing “Angels”.

Angel’s time on this Earth was troubled. As a spiritual being, stuck in a physical body, she was simultaneously; ahead of her time & out of this world with many of her thoughts and ideas. Angel loved her children, grandchildren and pets very much, and was especially close to her Grandson Wyatt and Father Orlie. Those who were close to her, will forever remember their “Earth Angel”. The greatest gift Angel gave to us, was her children, grandchildren and with them, the hope of a better future.

Angel is survived by her daughters and son, grandchildren, her father, her sisters, and many nieces and nephews. Angel was preceded in death by her mother Carol, grandparents Donald & Dorothy, and Woodrow & Amanda. Angel loved the song “What a Wonderful World”: “I see trees of green, red roses too. I see them bloom for me and you. And I think to myself what a wonderful world.”

There will be a small gathering in Angel's honor, a remembrance for family and close friends. To be held on October 23rd from 3:00 to 5:00 at McFarland UCC Church,( 5710 Anthony Street, McFarland, WI 53558). Brain Sirchio will speak and family and friends can share memories. In lieu of flowers, an Angel Koppes, memorial fund has been established
