Andy's life was so eventful, I always thought it could be a book or a movie as there was so much you just can't make up. He lived life to its fullest…. pushed all the boundaries and was surrounded by amazing people. There is so much I have forgotten (and probably a lot I don't know) and I'm really hoping that this will help to preserve his amazing story.
Everyone reading this has played a part in Andy's journey, and I can't wait to hear your stories. Please share your memories, pictures and videos to help us celebrate my fun-loving, clever, funny, thoughtful brother, Andy.

Thank you, Heather
The last chapter…. Andy was an organ donor which really wasn't a huge surprise as he loved helping people. He was really unwell for a few days and on Monday night my mom suggested he go to the ER as he was vomiting and couldn't keep anything down. Of course he didn't listen to his mother! She called him Tuesday morning to check on him and after not hearing back, her mother's intuition kicked in and she called the Fire Department and Police to do a wellness check. When they arrived, they found him on the kitchen floor, unconscious and with a very weak pulse.
A brain scan showed that he had severe bleeding in his brain so they immediately life flighted him to Renown Hospital in Reno (which is fabulous by the way) where it was determined that there was irreparable damage to his brain and that he would not be able to live off life support.
Andy would've really disliked seeing himself on life support, however, once they found out he was an organ donor, they kept him on it while they ran many tests to see what they could save in his otherwise healthy body. His heart, his kidneys, his eyes and some tissues were all viable options. This he would've loved.
When it was time to transition, he was ready. It was quick and peaceful, and we can't wait to hear about the lives that will be improved thanks to him.
We love you Andy

Andy Andy Andy. The face of Leucadia for so very long. Andy’s spirit made you feel like you were best friends even if you barely knew him. His welcoming personally made you feel so special and loved. He had this smile that lit up a room and captivated people. He was always up for a good time and always had the best stories. I’ve known Andy for 30 years… he was staple on the street I grew up on. He was my friend and also my landlord for a bit! Im going to miss his smile, his honk and his wave as he goes by. I look forward to hanging with him sometime soon in the afterlife. Here’s to you Andy, forever my buddy.

What words would you use to describe Andrew?
Heather, Kathy and all of your family, My deepest condolences. I worked for Tom and Kathy for many years back in the 90’s. Andy would always come into the office. There was never a time I didn’t speak to him without a smile on his face. He had a twinkle in his eyes and his hair was always a bit dishevelled. I loved talking to him ‘cuz he always laughed and he always seemed to be in a hurry to get to his next adventure on the go-cart which he drove too fast!😂 His spirit was so free & playful. He lit up a room. He was incredibly kind and generous, always eager to help anyone in need. My brother, Fielder and Andy (I always suspected) got into some shananigans. Maybe we’ll get to hear about those stories at his celebration of life! Andy is special to me for so many reasons. One profound reason being that I got to witness what a beautiful relationship he and Kathy had. I wish I could give him one last hug. ~ Audrey Fitzsimmons

What is your earliest memory of Andrew?
I remember Andy for his adventurous spirit from a very young age beginning when he was just 1 year old. He was always on the go looking to do everything and "bug" anyone there. He could also be so sweet and kind.

I met Andy in his late teens, and what stood out most was how creative, smart, and eager he was to squeeze every bit of fun out of whatever he did—and whoever he did it with. Some of my fondest memories are the trips we took together to Tahoe, Lake Mead, Glamis, and beyond. Andy had a special spirit that brought us together, strengthening our friendship and creating memories I’ll always cherish. I will never forget you, Andy, and I’ll always miss you, your brother. What is your favorite memory shared with Andrew?
I have so many memories of Andy. I remember when Heather picked me up in her Mustang to go to school and Andy was in the car being rambunctious 🤣, him making go carts and riding them up and down the driveway with Kalani, Pat, and Jeremy, sleep overs at Heathers and Andy always knocking on the door wanting to see what we were doing and his funny wise cracks 😂 Such a wonderful soul Andy is! I will miss him dearly 💕 He did indeed live an adventurous life to the fullest. He had a heart of gold 💛
