Amanda Michelle Wittig

Amanda Michelle Wittig, 32, of Parkersburg, passed away May 12, 2020 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 19, 1987, daughter of the late Martha Manuela and David Allen Wittig of Pomeroy, Ohio. Amanda was a beautiful young lady, with a kind soul. Her smile lit up a room. It was unfortunate that she never had a chance in this world. She was a product of her environment and fought her own demons with all that she had. She always held onto the hope of getting better. Unfortunately, she was unable to overcome her addiction that indirectly took her life. She will be missed deeply by those who love her. Amanda is survived by her 5 children of Parkersburg, her grandparents, Richard and Janice Wittig of Mount Pleasant, Michigan; her siblings Corey (Amber) Wittig of Lake Isabella, Michigan; Jason (Malissa Hoffman) Wittig of Pomeroy, Ohio and David Wittig of Pomeroy, Ohio.
