Elaine, Lester and Lewin, My heart is heavy as I think about your daughter, our child. Her presence on this plain was a blessing to all who knew her. Angels cannot stay earthbound forever. Condolences and may your continued faith in who is greater than you, who knows the big plan and guide, protect and comfort. The memories, the joys and laughter of Amanda will always be with you.

“The sands of time are sinking, The dawn of heaven breaks The summer morn I’ve sighed for, The fair sweet morn awakes; Dark, dark has been the midnight, But dayspring is at hand, And glory, glory dwelleth in Emmanuel’s land.” The King there in his beauty Without a veil is seen; It were a well-spent journey Though sev’n deaths lay between; The lamb with his fair army Doth on Mount Zion stand And glory, glory dwelleth in Emmanuel’s land.” Amanda is now experiencing the reality of the sentiments expressed above. May the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort be your comforter as He fills to overflowing the void left by Amanda’s departure. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Lyllis South

Amanda, I did not know you, but I am sure you were a beautiful soul - offspring of the wonderful parents who loved and raised you. Mr. Mitchell & Deacon Mitchell, I am truly sorry for your loss. Stay strong.

Praying for all of you during this difficult time. I was so blessed to have crossed paths with Amanda such a devoted woman of God who poured into her family. May we all be comforted that she is with the Lord now. Sincerest regards, Suzette
