Sadly, on Saturday August 3 we lost our beloved colleague Alex Jost. Alex had been with Europe Hotels Private Collection for over three years working as our Regional Operations Manager for the German and Austrian region. His passing raised great shock and sadness throughout the company. This site gives everyone a platform to contribute to a lasting memory for each other and his family. We remember Alex as energetic and optimistic, a true Mr Positive. He had many friends outside and inside the company. He was the best in keeping in touch with everyone, including former colleagues. Whoever you speak to remembers his sparkling, fun-loving personality, always in for a joke or a giggle. We are going to miss Alex deeply and will celebrate his beautiful spirit with our fond memories of him. We offer his family and everyone who loved him our deepest condolences and wish them lots of strength, light and love.

Thinking back to our coffees at 'Do what you LOVE what you do', and eating Katjesdrop while working on the SIR and Max Brown hotel projects in Berlin, Düsseldorf and Hamburg. On a bike from project A to B, endless talks with Frau L., having lovely diners together with Floortje at your kitchen table, our time along was great and memorable. From a colleague to a friend. Alex, I will cherish your beautiful soul as a dear memory. May you rest in peace, as memories of you live on. Our shoes will always keep on dancing together. My condolences, strength and love go to your family and loved ones.

missing your sense of humor and you making same grammar mistakes in German during serious meetings always made me laugh. I deeply hope that you are in a better place now and find your well deserved freedom and happiness. R.I.P. Alex and now I need to deal with all the girls in the team on my own.
