Co mě napadá, když si vzpomenu na Adama? Moc fajn člověk, kamarád, kolega, tatínek. Brzo poté, co přišel do HP a já se vrátila z mateřské se z nás stali přátelé, probírali jsme všechno možné i nemožné. Adam byl jeden z nejinteligentnějších a nejzábavnějších lidí, které jsem poznala. Naše děti byly velice blízké věkově, tak jsme řešili i podobné radosti a starosti. Adam byl na svého Honzíka neuvěřitelně pyšný a bylo neuvěřitelné sledovat, že mu dělá radost úplně vším, co dělá. Jsem si jistá, že tak to bude i dál, držím Honzíkovi palce ve všem, co plánuje a ještě víc v tom, co vůbec neplánuje. A kdybychom my, bývalý kolegové z HP mohli v čemkoliv dnes i v budoucnu pomoci, neváhejte se na nás obrátit, Evo, Honzíku. V březnu budeme držet tradici oslav našich společných narozenin, kterou jsme nazvali Černý Holič. A Ty Adame, nás sleduj, budeme se snažit nedělat Ti ostudu :) P.S. z únikovky na fotce jsme se samozřejmě bez problémů dostali, byl to přece dream team

Dear All, thank you so much for your heartfelt condolences. We are truly grateful for the beautiful memories and photos shared by you, it brought a smile to our faces even in the midst of deep sorrow. I will never forget the time, Adam and I visited HP in Rudná to introduce our newborn son Jan to his colleagues-especially his female colleagues🤗Even then, I could see how wonderful the people around Adam were. Our son, however, wasn´t so impressed at that time about HP-he cried through most of the visit nearly 18 years ago😉 Now through your memories, Jan sees just how beloved, enthusiastic and respected his father was at his work as well. Adam was an extremely kind person and shared a very special bond with his son. Jan and we all miss him deeply and he will live on in our hearts and memories forever. I would like to express a special thank to Nathanael Barbier for his care and attention to Adam and his amazing support and also two great ladies from HR department- Pavla and Daniela for their sensitive care, helpfulness and understanding. We are also grateful to everyone who came in person to say goodbye to Adam. Together we created beautiful heartfelt and touching atmosphere for this sad farewell. This Thursday 22d July, we organized a small commemoration besides Grenoble HP offices with the people who worked or met Adam ; He was not only a colleague but a friend for all of us. How to express our sadness.... you will be truly missed.

What would life be without exemplary individuals? It is with profound sadness that I bid farewell to Adam Cerny, a charismatic leader, motivator, and an intelligent, creative soul. His professionalism will be remembered across the globe and within various HP organizations. Adam was always ready with advice, not just in the professional realm but also on a personal level. He had the right words that only a truly exemplary person could offer. His passion was his son and family (our prayers and love are with them). We will miss you Amigo.

It is so hard to put together tribute words about Adam, a colleague and a good friend with whom I worked for more than 16 years and who was always around… Difficult to accept we will never meet in the office again, we will never go to the roof top for the coffee to discuss all the HP news, planning topics, or just the Czech politics. All those years of working together were so inspiring ( and not only in all the technologies Adam liked and understood so well), were full of good advises in tough times and full of fun moments especially with our “Grenoble ladies” colleagues anytime we could all meet face to face. My thoughts are also with Adam’s son Honzik about whom he talked very often and was so proud of. My sincere condolences to the whole Cerny family. Rest in peace Adam, I will never forget.

I joined the same Demand Planning team as Adam a couple of years ago, coming from a completely different background, and during that whole period, Adam was my main point of contact and resource of knowledge. We would speak a couple of times a week, and during some periods (like recently with some projects we were working on) more frequently, whether chat or call. He made you feel comfortable with his relaxed and calm demeanor, and with him you felt that no question was too stupid to ask. I admired his attitude to work, always ready to help and go out of his way, even when it wasn't his responsibility. He truly embodied the OneHP spirit. Even though the vast majority of our calls were spent talking business, we would sometimes laugh or have a joke about something, whether current affairs or politics etc, and it was only then that I got a small glimpse of his outside of work interests and intellect. I wish I had got to know him better, and meet him in real-life. He will be sorely missed by everyone that he touched. Rest in peace Adam.
