Luis Baca, 63, of Llano Quemado passed away on February 4, 2014. He retired from the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his wife, Diana Baca, parents, Fidencio and Viola Baca, brother, Alex Baca and infant sister, Marie Baca. He is survived by his children, Matthew Baca (Antonia Espinoza), Jerry Baca and Melanie Baca (Jason Gordon), grandchildren, Aurora Gordon, Riley and Sebastain Baca-Gordon, Elia and Arabella Baca. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Martin Baca (Maxine), Catherine Chavez (Louis), Patsy Martinez (Lewis), Pauline Sanchez (Richard), Chris Baca (Sharon) and Diedra Lucero (DeGodoy), many other relatives and friends. I am His eldest Grandchild and Jerry's daughter. I Miss him very much and I was pretty young when he passed away. I am now a teen and wish he was here to see me succeed and I was in 3rd grade when he died. Now I am a Sophmore!! Thank you Guys!

I am sorry to the Baca Family. I knew Diana and Luis and I they were the nicest couple I have ever met when I moved to Taos in 1999. I pray for them both and am glad they are reunited in heaven. I miss them both dearly.
