Not sure where to even start…. My heart is completely broken. Auntie Melva I love you so much beyond what words could ever explain. You were an incredible, incomparable, loving, affectionate, caring, God fearing, virtuous woman. Auntie you taught me the significance of allowing God to be the center of it all. You treated me like a daughter. You nurtured and showered me with unconditional love. You were everything and so much more that a person could ask for. Your qualities compares to no other. Thank you for those final words of encouragement. I will cherish each and everyone as well as I will do my very best to apply them to life situation. I love u so much 😭😭😭until we meet again my precious GEM. Kamisha Kelly Grandniece

Aunty, I am still weak and lost for word.. You are our queen, shinning star and matron of the Dillon's family-We know death would be some day for us all but losing you is so so hard to accept. Uncle will be glad to have you with him in heaven. But we here on earth misses you immensely. Your tower of strength, loyalty, nurturing and caring selfless self. Aunty come back to us. It aches to loose such a priceless soul as you aunty. Our mentor, our prayer warrior, shield and amour. You have made your mark and we will honor your forever. We will forever cherish the priceless moments we spent, the warm you shared and give, your big smile, affectionate hugs, positive encouragements and unique smiles. Who will we turn to now aunty?. I know you would not want us to be sad or cry too hard. But we have lost a dear mother, aunty, grandmother, sister and community mentor and entrepreneur. Sleep in heavenly peace. We love your always and forever

She's Royal..so Royal..and I am so glad I knew her. Sis Melva has been an inspirational part of my life growing up. She not only loved and cared for her seven beautiful children but for all the other young people in the community including myself. She worked passionately for her family, churches and her community. Sis Melva is who the Bible describes as a virtuous woman. She served Well! And I am sure God is pleased to welcome her home. Rest in peace Mommy Fido! I pray God will continue to strengthen the hearts of your children and grandchildren. Love ❤ you guys!

"Sing like no one's listening, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching, and live like its heaven on earth." - Unknown My fondest memories of my Godmother are ones where she personifies this quote. We are often blessed with great people: our parents, guardians, children, friends, etc. I was blessed with Fidolin, Godmother extraordinaire. When she wasn't busy being a mother to her own children or a strong woman of God she was my godmother and honestly it was no easy feat as I was not an easy child. In order to appreciate my relationship and love for my Godmother, you would first need to understand how the Great Fidolin Dillon became MY Godmother. Before she was a mother, my Godmother was my mother's best friend at church and like many other women, when church friends become parents it's the job of the best friend from church to become a godparent, so that's how the greatest Godmother in the world, became my godmother. In fact, when my godmother became a mother her firstborn became my mother's Godchild. My godmother played an active role in my upbringing. She made sure that I was actively involved in church activities. She was even my choir director! I even had the privilege of being the flower girl at her wedding and on vacation at her house on holidays. As we say farewell to her there is one thing to remains true and will always be with us, regardless of how you met my godmother it will always leave a lasting impression. Not only did her smile, charm and grace captivate you, but her entire being. My Godmother was an experience. One that will never be forgotten by time.
