Donald William Tice

Donald William Tice, age 74, of Newport, OH, passed away December 23, 2024 at home following a brief illness.

He was born August 19,1950 in Steubenville, Oh, to the late Herbert and Mary Tice. 

Don was a devoted Christian, deeply rooted in his faith. He was a member of Broadback Community Church, in Belmont, WV. He was a retired teacher employed by Wood County Schools. He was a proud member of American Union No. 1 Free and Accepted Masons in Marietta, OH. 

Survivors include his wife, Judy of 36 years, sister, Barbara Yaskanich, daughter Angela (Donald) Wilson, son Michael (Amber) Tice, 2 nephews, 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and special lifelong friend, Dave Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jim Yaskanich.

Per Don’s wishes, there will be no services. A memorial gathering in his honor is being planned for a later date.
