Mementos

Anyone who met Max knew they were meeting someone who was one in a billion. Many will remember his generosity, the lengths he went to to make people feel welcome, and his absolutely infectious personality. Those close to him will remember his fierce loyalty, his insatiable curiosity, and the depths of his passions. He had a donkey tattoo on his ankle, a shirt brimming with personality on, and a sparkle in his eyes, always. He was radiant. He gave the best hugs. He sent the most heartfelt goodnight texts. He gave every part of himself to the people he loved and believed in, and we are all better for it.

Posting a welcome table photo from the March 5th belated Birthday celebration+fundraiser in Max's honor. 150+ folks came together in community to toast Max and to share stories about him. It was incredibly moving and healing at the same time.
