I will never stop thinking about and remembering Mikey. His smile. His laugh. He was the very first person to get me out of my shell in college, to make me feel comfortable. He had a talent of making people feel safe with just his presence. He cared about every single person around him. I remember the many nights in the dorms where we would stay up until 3 a.m. just talking about our lives. I felt as if I knew his sisters, his brother, and his amazing parents before I even met them. I was so fortunate to have those nights to really get to know who Mikey was and who he wanted to be. Mikey had such a special soul and it will forever break my heart that I never told him how truly amazing he was. I am so beyond lucky to have met him. He shaped who I am today and will continue to shape the person I become.

I remember Mikey and Ash playing together in preschool. He was a kind and thoughtful friend. Later, at a Scout camp out with Sam he demonstrated the same kind character. I am so sorry for your loss.

I met mikey in middle school at lunch time, he invited me over without knowing who I was and had a great time hanging out with him in middle school. He always had a friendly welcoming personality. He will be missed a lot.

I remember hiking with Tariq around Bandelier, while he carried little napping Mikey in his arms. I've tried to be a dad like that. I'm so grateful to the Aslam family and deeply saddened by their loss. Prayers and love for them.
