Herman Harvey Fish

Herman Fish passed away at home in the company of his wife on March 9th, 2021 in Whittier, CA at the age of 90.

Herman is survived by his wife, Patricia Fish; children, Glen, Gene, Kathy, Gary, Christopher, Timothy, Karen, John, Susan, Sherlyn and Scott; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother Evelyn Fish, father Lloyd Fish, and brothers Jim and Herb Fish.

As a young adult, Herman joined the Air Force where he worked as an aeromechanic. The Air Force took him far from North Dakota and showed him parts of the world that he had only seen in his dreams. It is when the Air Force stationed him in Tucson, Arizona that he met his future wife, Patty Conn. In a small ceremony, Herman married the love of his life, Patricia Mary Conn on May 17, 1952. The newlywed couple move to Whittier, CA in 1955 where they bought the house they would live in for the rest of their lives. 

Herman went on to have a lenghty career as a mechanic for Firestone. He had a rewarding and lenghty career with Firestone that spanned over 40 years.

Herman's life will be celebrated at the Whittier home on Wednesday March 17th, 2021 from 10:30am to 12:30pm Pacific. After which, a gravesite ceremony is scheduled for 1pm Pacific at the Olive Lawn Memorial Park, with a reception to follow back at the Whittier home.
