Doris S. Smith

I was saddened to learn of Doris' death. I worked with Doris for a number of years and got to know both her and Jimmy B. As my executive assistant she showed both professionalism and exceptional knowledge in carrying out her responsibilities. I could always count on her for her insights and honesty in providing inputs into decisions that I had to make. She was truly an exceptional person, colleague, and friend. I especially remember the delicious pies and other desserts she would bring to the office and I still have one of her recipes, Valley Pie, she made on one occasion. I miss her but remember the many enjoyable times we spent in the administration of UC Cooperative Extension. Jerry Siebert, former Director
