He also was a Phoenix Award winner, for his quick actions, CPR and First Aid skills, to save the life of a man he had never met. He never knew a stranger, and was a father figure and mentor to so many people. Everyone that knew him fell in love with his funny facial expressions, his boisterous laugh, and his warmth that permeated every inch of every room he was in. A quote comes to mind, “At the end of the day, you will not remember the person with the beautiful face. You will remember the person with the beautiful Heart and Soul. ” He will always be remembered for both. There will be a Celebration of Life service held in the Spring for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in David’s name.
