Today, Dec 17 is such a special day for your Mom and Dad: the day that you came into their lives and you had to leave so soon. Hope you are enjoying the real presence of our loving Lord. Praying for you and your parents, and all those whose lives you touched (and there were many). May they find true peace within, of knowing that you are in good hands. God bless you 'Topher' and Mom and Dad! I would like to share this poem that I have had for years: "A Child is Loaned" I'll lend you, for a little time a child of mine, He said. For you to love the while he lives and mourn for when he's dead. It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three, But will you, 'till I call him back, take care of him for me?' He'll bring his charms to gladden you, and should his stay be brief, You'll have his lively memories as solace for your grief. I cannot promise he will stay, since all from earth return, But there are lessons taught down there, I want this child to learn. I've looked this wide world over, in my search for teachers true- And from the throngs that crown life's lane, I have selected you. Now will you give him all your love, nor think the labor vain, Nor hate Me when I come to call and take him back again? I fancied that I heard them say: "Dear Lord, your will be done, for all the joy your child shall bring, the risk of grief we'll run. We'll shelter him with tenderness, we'll love him while we may; And for the happiness we have known, forever grateful we will stay." But should the angel's call for him, much sooner than we've planned, We'll brave the bitter grief that comes, and try to understand. -Author Unknown -With much love, Carol Lee

Christopher came in to Kellogg as a new student. Me and my friends introduced ourselves so he at least knew a couple people. I remember hanging out with him, he was just the sweetest kid. I could tell he was lonely though and didn't have many friends. I tried my hardest to make sure he felt welcomed and included. So much love going to his family from me ❤️ I am just now working up the courage to send my condolences. I have been grieving the loss of my brother who took his life as well. Christopher will be in my heart.

I knew Chris for about 6 years, he was one of the first people I met when moving to Washington. I remember our late night calls where we talked about our week, day, whatever was on our mind and he talked about what he had up his sleeve for our next dnd game on the weekend. I remember when he came into class in the morning of 7th/8th grade and he had to exclaim that he was there. I remember in 8th grade in our core extensions class we sat in the back of class and just talked about our day and he usually brought up legos. I loved our lunches and recesses were we joked and he always made me and our other friends laugh. I had to take the flag down at the end of school and he always helped even if it was pouring down rain he was still there. If my mom was picking me up from school he always said "HEY BECCA'S MOM!!" and my mom would say "HI CHRIS!" in the same enthusiastic tone. He always knew how to cheer me up and make me laugh. He was such a bright light in our world, I miss him so much and I'll never forget the impact he made.

I never really talked to him but I sat behind him in my SAS class. I remember him always making a grand entrance into the room and always making funny jokes. His presence always made the room lively and fun. I am glad to have known him, although not personally, while he was here.
