Beverly Ann Sheldon

Beverly Ann Sheldon, 83, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, born in Newton, Massachusetts, daughter of Thomas Joseph Murphy Jr. and Sarah A. Hickel, passed away peacefully at Camden Clark Medical Center on August 23, 2022 with family at her side. She was devoted to her faith in God and was a lifetime member of St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church of Parkersburg. She enjoyed cooking, canning, quilt making, jewelry beading, crafts and camping. Beverly had a love for drinking her tea and enjoying all things nature, especially walking on the beach and collecting seashells for crafting. She mainly enjoyed traveling to family members’ homes for visits and holiday gatherings. Beverly is survived by her Husband of 64 years David M. Sheldon, her two loving dogs Molly and Missy, her children Mary C. Sheldon, Rusty M. Sheldon, Kimberly Ann Sheldon, Christopher P. Sheldon (Tammy), James B. Sheldon (Suzanne). She is preceded in death by her parents, her sons Ray Anthony Sheldon and David M. Sheldon Jr. , Sister Mary R. Miles (Jerry). A private cremation will take place at Mid-Ohio Valley Cremation Society. Family members will hold a private celebration of her life.
