Benito Aragon, 86, passed away on June 5, 2022. He was born on December 14, 1935 in Lamy, NM to Lucinda and Ross Aragon. Benito married Juanita on September 16, 1961 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Lucinda and Ross Aragon, sons; Benjamin and Robert Aragon, father and mother in law; Ruben and Dolores Gurule.
He is survived by his wife; Juanita Aragon, son; Ruben Aragon (Dolores), daughters; Cindy Marquez (Gerard) and Anna Martinez (Michael) grandson; Jacob Aragon, great grandson; Anthony Aragon-Baca, great granddaughter; Arianna Aragon Green, sisters; Ruby Lujan (Fred) and Cecilia Ortiz (Gilbert).
Benito was in the Navy and New Mexico National Guard SGM, F.O.E. Thank You Ambercare Hospice and Thank You family and friends for your Love, Prayers and Support.
A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 1301 Osage, St. John the Baptist Church. A Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.

Juanita, Cindy, Ruben, Anna: I am so very sorry. Since I heard of Benny's passing, my mind has been flooded with so many memories of all the fun we had in the almost 50 years I've known the Aragons. Especially the Christmas parties at the Eagles! I hope you are also comforted by happy memories. My deepest condolences.

I just heard of SGM Aragon's passing and immediately felt sad and remembered his wonderful smile. Benny was a such a nice and kind hearted man. It was always a pleasure to interact with him. My sincere condolences to Juanita, Ruben and the entire family. God bless you all.
