Dad, the times where you told me you were proud of me for something when I put my mind to it made me so happy, I wish you knew just how much. I remember we'd spend some nights playing games like Wizard101 on the computer together, we'd watch the bears games with our jerseys on, even if mine was outgrown for a while. Seeing Uncle Bruce was always fun and especially the last couple times. When we used to go to Blackwidow and look around at some of the cool stuff there.. I'll remember the time we spent fishing at Cecil Web too where I caught that big bass. I remember recently when we went to see Endgame, Godzilla, Spiderman in theaters. Going to the Shell Factory to walk around and then grab lunch was always a fun time too. I'm thankful for all of it. I know you're watching over us Dad, I love you.

There are so many memories growing up with you in them. I remember dad packing us all up in the car to head to your place. Whether for cook outs or wrestling. I am thankful for getting to spend time with you when dad was sick. RIP uncle Kirk. Give dad a hug for me. Until we see each other again. Love you.

Kirk was not only my co-worker for more than 16 years but he was my friend. I will always remember his sense of humor. The way he made light things that weren't so great. I will also remember him for what I was so apparent about him. His dedication and love to his youngest son, his kindness, his ability to forgive, his drive and hard work and his determination not to give up. I truly believe God has a special place for him. He will always be missed. (The photo is a photo that Kirk submitted at work when we were collecting childhood photos of staff)
