Andy Miera, 67, of El Prado passed away on August 16, 2020. He is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Alleyda Miera, father, Palemon Miera, father-in-law, Manuel Martinez and brother-in-law, Rudy L. Martinez. He is survived by his wife, Romaine Miera, mother, Flossie Miera, son, Andy Miera Jr. ( Keisha), daughter, Marlene Miera (Jose), granddaughter, Angel Abeyta, grandson, Sonny D. Abeyta, step-grandsons, Isaiah Barfield and Eluriah “Tink” Barfield, step-great granddaughter, Amaris E. Barfield brothers, Harry Miera, Thomas Miera, Frankie Pancho Miera, and Nestor Miera, sisters, Anita Miera ( Estevan), Mary Frances Miera, and Jeanette Olonia ( Johnny), He is also survived by his in-laws, mother-in-law, Eva Martinez, brothers and sisters in law, Felix Manuel Martinez (Patricia), Virginia Romero (Ray), Herbert Martinez (Melissa) Edward Martinez and Becky Martinez, all of his godchildren and a host of family and friends.
Private family services will be held.

Dear Mrs Miera and family. I heard about Andy’s passing over the weekend from my brother Joe.I knew Andy over the years from the ski Valley. He always treated me so well. I loved him dearly. He always had a warm smile and love to chat. God bless all of you. He will be sorely missed.

A wonderful and open soul has left us, but Andy will be remembered fondly by so many. I worked with Andy for a season in the rental shop at TSV. I remember Andy casually suggesting that we ski down little Zagava, which, to a beginner skier like me looked terrifying. He patiently waited at the bottom of the run, encouraging every one of my tentative snowplow turns. Beyond patient. In the years that followed, he always greeted me with a warm smile and conversation. I will miss Andy but feel very blessed to have known him. Take care, Romaine and family.
