Terri Edwards
1964 - 2022
1964 - 2022
Terri was born in 1964. A force of nature, Terri spent the majority of her adult life working to help alcoholics and other addicts into recovery. She was passionate about sobriety and would have marked 32 years sober on December 14th, 2022. Terri was deeply spiritual and found healing and connection to the universe through nature, crystals, and service to others. She created a vast, loving family and network of friends through both work and personal life. She doted on her dog Roxi and her cats Otis, Stormi, and Suzi Q, and was a friend to a myriad of wildlife.

Terry, I never got to meet you in person but it feels like I know you! You were a wonderful friend to my sister through the most difficult time of her life. I appreciate you and will always cherish you for that! Rest in Heaven Terry!

Terri would not have accepted all of the accolades written on her memorial page. She gave so very much and asked little. Her tough exterior was a facade. She used her past experiences in order to reach others through immense compassion that she was reluctant to accept. I am so grateful I was able to visit her and tell her what a legacy she created and how well she used her life.

I've tried several times to write this...I just can't seem to find the right words. When I first met Terri 4 years ago, she kinda intimidated me. I had never met anyone like her before. She had a way about her, an aura of confidence and peace. I don't know how many times I had to seek her council, on everything from client problems to how to handle my own insecurities. And you know what? Every single time she was there for me. A word of advice on procedure or a patient word of reassurance ,Terri was just always there. Not too long ago, I was going through a personal difficulty and Terri called me. Just to chat and make sure I was ok. She said," You rock momma, keep doing what you do so well." My anxiety melted away and I found myself smiling again. I can't believe she's not going to answer the phone or send some inspiration in a text... I'm glad I saved them all. Goodbye Terri, I'll see you on the other side...

Thank you Terri for helping me change my life when i needed it the most. You were my mentor and my friend, I could NOT have done it without you! I cherish all my words of wisdom you so freely gave...love all my rocks and stuff you gave SuRu et al. I miss you tremendously and wished i would have let you know how i turned out sooner. I too strive to be like my TE as much as i possibly can each day! I can hear that cackle laugh - LOUD! Love You TE

Terri is the most colorful, honest, and gentle person I have ever met. I was lucky enough to have her as my personal counselor for 8 years. She showed me love and empathy. She taught me how to respect my body and most importantly she taught me how to use my voice. I love you so much Terri, you were my second mom, never stopped believing in me. Thank you for all you have done for me. Also, (in Terri’s words) she said bitch you will never be able to forget about me now because my son is was born on the same day and truly a few minutes away from the actual time Terri Edwards was born. ❤️❤️❤️

Terri was instrumental in my career and my life. She taught me many things that will last a lifetime. I still hear her voice of instruction in my head often. Sometimes I ask myself, “What would Terri do?” Or, “What would Terri say?”. She touched the lives of countless men and women. Thank you for being you Terri!
